The repeater has pretty good coverage for Onslow County and the surrounding areas/beaches. I removed the split DPL/PL tone. It now requires a PL tone of 114.8 to access. The PL of 114.8 on the receive is not needed, but recommended to cut down on interference. I put this repeater on the same antennas as two other amateur radio repeaters and they all three perform very well. This repeater has been on the air for a few years. My wife and I used it exclusively, but we haven't used it much lately and I felt that it would better serve the community if I advertised that it is available for all GMRS license holders.
